Search
Engine Optimization (SEO) is a trade, a skill, and a science. It
holds true to be a challenge, a work in progress because just when you
reach to top of the Search Engine hill there is always someone ready to
knock you off. To top that, the rules for the playing field that search
engine optimizers study and learn from each and everyday, frequently
change at the whim of the Search Engines, themselves. SEO can be an
exhausting and constant learning experience. One advantage that I have
gleaned, through all of this, is many years of solid experience in
optimizing search engines. I have seen and have had webpage’s come and
go. I have had successes and failures; however, through it all, I was
schooled. I have learned what it takes to reach the top on any search
engine, for any keyword.
Another
important lesson learned in search engine optimization, is link building. Be it one-way links, or reciprocal links, every
webpage needs them to reach the top. Although, just having links to your
webpage is not enough. The links must have weight. The more important
the link to your webpage, the better; this means, the higher page
ranking the linked webpage has, the better. The way you word
link-content, placed on remote webpage’s linking to your site, is
important, too. The method of wording tells the search engines which
keywords are most important. With the right combination of anchor,
text-rich content, along with a high concentration of authority
webpage's linked to your site, in conjunction with the right Meta
information, and any keyword can reach number one.
One key note: Please remember it will not happen over night,
however. It takes time to get the ball rolling.
There is more.
Writing
to forums, and blogs with a link-back to your webpage is a great way to
increase your link popularity. In addition, article writing and placing
them on free article-content webpage’s, with a link placed in the
author bio block, back to your webpage, will get massive links to your
site. However; remember, as in any link building, the links should be
created naturally; not farmed, or mass purchased.
Just
a note regarding blog websites: You can achieve great back-link success
through blog submission websites. There are 6,150,000-blog submission
sites on Google, alone.
The
tools I use are every bit as important as the years of knowledge, to my
success.
